Thousands Join in Corpus Christi Processions
In June we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi. Parishes throughout the archdiocese held special Corpus Christi processions, providing an opportunity to publicly express our faith and evangelize to all those in our community. More than 2,000 Catholics joined Cardinal Leo for a procession in the streets of downtown Toronto.

Thank You Teachers, Support Staff & Students

As the school year draws to a close, we give thanks for all those who give so generously of their time and talents to nurture Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto – we wish you abundant blessings for a summer filled with good health and joyful memories:

Prayer for Our Partners in Education

As we come to the close of another school year, we give You thanks for the many blessings You have bestowed upon our school community. We are grateful for the gifts of learning, growth, friendship, service, and faith that have enriched our lives throughout the year.

We thank You for the dedication of teachers, staff, parents, and all who support the mission of Catholic education. We are grateful for the students whose energy, talents, and enthusiasm bring life to every classroom they enter each day.

As we reflect on the year that has passed, help us to recognize Your presence in our successes, our challenges, and our everyday moments. May the lessons we have learned and the relationships we have formed continue to bear fruit in the months ahead.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Magnifica Humanitas: Why Safeguarding the Human Person in the Age AI Matters Today

To help bring these themes into focus, we speak with Toronto’s Matthew Harvey Sanders, founder of Magisterium AI, who shares insights on what this teaching means for us today and how it can guide our faithful engagement with emerging technologies.

Ensuring Care for the Most Vulnerable

A special joint parliamentary committee is preparing to table its report before the summer, ahead of resumed debate in September. Testimony from experts and advocates has raised serious concerns about expanding euthanasia to cases where mental illness is the sole underlying condition, underscoring the need to protect vulnerable Canadians and ensure care is not replaced with death.

Cardinal Leo is joined by a growing number of respected voices, reinforcing the call for caution and compassion in this decision. There is still time to influence the outcome. If you have not yet contacted your Member of Parliament, now is the moment to do so – it just takes a few clicks.
