4 Priests Ordained to Serve the Archdiocese of Toronto

On Saturday, May 9, four priests were ordained for service to the Archdiocese of Toronto. Please keep the newly ordained as well as all priests and consecrated religious men and women in your prayers.

Help Not Harm for those with Mental Illness

On April 20, 2026, Cardinal Leo wrote to Prime Minister Carney and all federal Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Archdiocese of Toronto asking for their support of Bill C-218 and decrying the rapid expansion of euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada. The letters from His Eminence are closely aligned with the Help Not Harm campaign currently underway in the archdiocese and throughout Canada. Catholics are asked to contact their Member of Parliament by clicking here and asking them to support Bill C-218. The entire process takes less than three minutes. A vote on the legislation is expected by late May or early June 2026.

• Corpus Christi Mass & Procession – Sunday, June 7, 2026 – all are welcome to attend this annual celebration at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica which includes the Noon Mass and a short procession in the heart of downtown Toronto. How to Be Marian in our Daily Lives

As we celebrate the month of Mary, Dr. Josephine Lombardi, Academic Dean of St. Augustine’s Seminary and Associate Professor of Systemic and Pastoral Theology, reflects on ways that we can all be Marian Successors – one who stands in for Mary; someone who, like Mary, is inspired by the Holy Spirit to love and to reason without fear.

Prayers for Pope Leo XIV

Friday, May 8, 2026 marked the one year anniversary of the election of Pope Leo XIV. Please continue to keep the Holy Father in your prayers.
